I had a craving and decided to swing by the grocery store since I was already out picking up some computer parts, and one chain has trays available for just $5 . I was surprised to see that the selection was better than normal for this time of the day and then I figured out why - it’s not Friday. That $5 deal is once a week, and I lost track of what day it is. Oops.
Maybe tomorrow...

Is that $5 for two or three day old sushi? If so, hard pass.

In theory it’s fresh (ish). I have also bought marked-down sushi in the clearance section at other places and it’s been fine. The $5 Friday deals aren’t too bad as long as you’re not expecting restaurant quality - just temper your expectations.

Gah, that photo looks delicious, though.

Sprouts is $5 sushi on Wednesdays! It’s my unemployed treat.
